Industrial Safety Training

PEC Core Compliance

Hours:  3 days

Prerequisite:  No

Hands-on Training:  No

 

Evaluation:

Students receive written exams to verify competency.

 

Core Compliance is an intense 3-day instructor-led training provides training on safety practices and injury prevention on the job. Students are instructed on  more than 40 topics usually required by oil and gas operators.

PEC Core Refresher

Hours:  8 hrs.

Prerequisite:  PEC Core Compliance

Hands-on Training:  No

 

This refresher course brings students up-to-date on their core compliance  training certification. It’s a one-day program covering topics previously visited during the initial training. It is administered annually.

​

PEC H2S Clear

PEC H2S Clear was designed to provide and improve safety of employees who may potentially come in contact with hydrogen sulfide in the workplace. Upon completion of the course, all students are issued a physical and digital PEC ID card with their name, company name, picture, barcode, and completed course. All students are automatically entered into PEC’s Advanced Training Tracker where your company’s clients and auditors can view proof of employee orientation through www.peccard.com.

Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Training

Hours:  8 hrs.

Prerequisite:  No

Hands-on Training:  Yes

 

First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to a first aid or cardiac arrest incident before emergency medical services arrives. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use. Child and infant CPR is available upon request.

Certification:

Students receive a Redcross First Aid/CPR/AED card, valid for 2 years.

 

Evaluation:

First aid, CPR and AED skills test.

Clear Crew Cutting

Hours:  16 hrs.

Prerequisite:  No

Hands-on Training:  No

​

This is a 16-hour (2 day) class going over chainsaws, clearing, tree cutting etc. However, If they you can provide proof of a first Aid card or an 8-hour refresher via a 5000-23, then it is only an 8 hour class.

OSHA 10 Construction

Hours:  10 hrs.

Prerequisite:  No

Hands-on Training:  No

​

This course provides basic safety and health information. It also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. It is not an OSHA requirement

​

OSHA 30 Construction

Hours:  30 hrs.

Prerequisite:  No

Hands-on Training:  No

 

This class is similar to the OSHA 10, but it is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards.
